I have never been to Red Rocks, but wanted to go ever since I heard about the Radiohead concert. The venue was spectacular. From the top you can see all 3 tall buildings in the town of Denver. I think the only other venue I enjoyed more was the Hollywood Bowl out in LA.

We tailgated in the parking lot. I don't think I ever tailgated at a concert before.. only football games. The concert itself was ok. The new Beastie material is good, but it does not jive with their previous body of work in concert format. I bet the gala at the Fillmore tonight is going to be much better.
