Madden '09

It has been over 4 years since I last played Madden in a competitive manner. I won plenty of money playing Madden competitively when I was in college so I can't believe I haven't played it for this long. My trash talk is weak and thankfully my game is still strong. In a couple of months, I am sure my verbal skills will be on par with my game play. Competitors beware.

Time to make money. Take the Giants and the +12 and take the under total of 54.5 points.

The Seattle Seahawks are an enigma of a team. They are great at home but suck on the road. The Redskins come in winning their last four games, overcoming adversity with the loss of Sean Taylor. I'm not going to lie.. I hate Hasslesuck and the Seahawks because I have been burned so many times taking Seattle, so take the Redskins +4 over the Seahawks.

This is easy. Jags will roll on Pittsburgh and probably win by 10 points. Taylor is the real deal and pimpin' Garrad will be mistake free. Take the Jags -2 over the Steelers.

What is up with the refs in the NFL?

Was right about the spread, but wrong about the over/under. Three plays that screwed me in this game. 1 - Steve Smith no catch call. Clearly two feet down. 2 - No passing interference call against the Cowboys when the Panthers were deep in their own zone. 3 - Panthers unable to score a TD when they were a yard from the endzone. Instead, the QB gets sacked twice and they manage to get a FG. Pathetic.
